User Profile

There are two parts to a user's profile. The standard Wordpress part and the ARES Part

Standard Wordpress User Profile

Username: This is the WordPress Username. This will be the current Call Sign with all Capital Letters. Wordpress doesn't allow the Username to be changed by default. We will be writing a function that will sync all the places the call sign is stored as well as a way to change and sync call signs when a Ham chooses a vanity call needing it to be changed. This username is set when a new user is created.

ARES User Profile

Record ID: This is a wordpress value that links the Wordpress user to the ARES User record. This will be hidden in production

Prefix: Mr. Mrs. Dr. Rev. whatever the user would like to choose.

First Name: Need I say more?

Middle Name or Initial: Again user choice

Last Name: The user's last name

Suffix: Jr Sr III IV or nothing. Don't add any preceding commas. Where needed the system will add a comma.

Call Sign: The User's Call Sign in Capital Letters. This will be eventually forced to be upper case upon saving.

Positions Held: This is a list of the positions held by the user, the position as well as the administrative organization where it is held. When the [[Edit Positions Held By User[[ button is pressed these can be edited. A user won't be able to edit their own positions but the person just above then in the "food chain" will be able to edit these positions.
